Bayern's Goretzka sidelined with hamstring strain
Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka will miss "a few days" with a hamstring strain, the club said Sunday.
Goretzka picked up the strain in Saturday's 2-1 win at Freiburg, which sent the league leaders six points clear.
Scans carried out on Sunday confirmed the 29-year-old's injury.
Goretzka had fallen behind Joao Palhinha and Aleksandar Pavlovic in the pecking order early this season amid reports he was set to leave the club.
In recent weeks however, the 57-time Germany player took advantage of injuries to Palhinha and Pavlovic to cement his place in the starting XI.
Goretzka joins Bayern's growing injury list alongside Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano, with Japan centre-back Hiroki Ito yet to play for the club since joining in the summer after foot surgery.
