Jackson, Hill, Lamb among NFL players union All-Pro squad
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and wide receivers Cee Dee Lamb of Dallas and Tyreek Hill of Miami were among those named Wednesday to the NFL Players Association All-Pro Team.
The second annual all-star squad selected by active NFL players included 30 members on the first team across 23 positions.
Players voted in their position groups and those they play directly against. They could not vote for themselves or teammates and anyone who missed five or more of the season's first 15 games was deemed ineligible.
Jackson, considered a favorite for NFL Most Valuable Player honors after guiding the Ravens to an NFL-best 13-4 regular-season record, threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns with only seven interceptions while rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns.
Lamb and Hill were conference pass reception leaders this season, with Lamb leading the NFL with 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns while Hill paced the AFC with 119 receptions for a league-best 1,799 yards and NFL-high 13 touchdowns.
San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey, the NFL rushing leader with 1,459 yards and 14 touchdowns on 272 carries, and teammate Kyle Juszczyk at fullback were voted into the running back slots.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Philadelphia center Jason Kelce, were both voted onto the All-Pro squad along with fellow offensive linemen Trent Williams of San Francisco, Joel Bitonio of Cleveland, Tyler Smith and Zack Martin of Dallas and Lane Johnson of Philadelphia.
Defenders included edge rushers Myles Garrett of Cleveland and Max Crosby of Las Vegas and linemen Chris Jones of Kansas City, Dexter Lawrence of the New York Giants and Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams.
Linebackers Roquan Smith of Baltimore and Fred Warner of San Francisco were joined by defensive backs DaRon Bland of Dallas, Pat Surtain of Denver, Jessie Bates of Atlanta and Kyle Hamilton of Baltimore.
Special teams players included Green Bay kick returner Keisean Nixon, Los Angeles Chargers punt returner Derius Davis, Jalen Reeves-Maybin of Detroit, Brenden Schooler of New England, long snapper Ross Matiscik of Jacksonville, Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey and punter A.J. Cole of Las Vegas.
